Hi There,
well what can I say my first day was a bomb. I was immediatley offered a coffee and well, I seemed to have integrated 100% into the team already :). Nothing more to say so far I have a good impression about the job and I think I did the right decision to change hotels.

I think it is some kind ofthe Got my car Syndrome which happens to everyone who gets a licence. I used to do a lot of walking ( obviously I had no car), but since I got my car and licence my walking ahs only been limited to going to the car and back. So this together with a combination of fast food and other unhealthy food is making me look fatter.
Well just my opinion, just go and walk, sunset is the best time, less heat and less people around

As I said , one of this blog’s purpose is mainly to be able to share my thoughts and opinions
How does it feel to change workplace after 3years ? Any comments ? I am looking forward to a same job basically just at a different place ( better for sure). I know the first “stage” is hard, new collegues, new procedures, new managers, expectations well yeah those sort of things. I hope to be able to integrate immediately. Although I am looking forward to my first day at this new workplace next Wednesday still I am a bit nervouse, since I do not know what actually to expect. Oh well we’ll see, and I’ll update you accordingly

well personally I think that Maltese Drama has imprioved a lot in quality during the recent years. Unfortunately a particular channel still airs those low type of drama ( no need to mention names, I think it is quite obvious to what I am referring to). I ask how are these allowed to be broadcasted ?and continue to infuse ignorance to the Maltese tele viewer. Not to mention children copying a particular characters behaviour even in schools.
Well that is just my two cents on the matter, I am sure that a longer discussion could be started even on popular discussion programmes.

Freedom of speech is being able to speak freely without censorship. The right to freedom of speech is guaranteed under international law through numerous human-rights instruments, notably under Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights, although implementation remains lacking in many countries.
Yeah well the above wikipedia snippet says it all, but I am not looking to define freedom of speech but mainly look at it from my point of view in Malta. My intention is not to point fingers or mention names, well for obvious reasons. I was looking at a blog of a prominent reporter and I sincerly think that some things which were written there surely do not fall under the “Freedom Of Speech Umbrella”. Does this “freedom” give you the right to give names to people ? I do not think so.
Understandbly journalists aare curious and want to have a story with a bang, so I understand this urge to go over things to make a hit, but sometimes there are those who really go over things and that is the problem. My concluding statement is basically that freedom of speech does not give you the right to be 100% free, one cannot say things which are wrong or without any proof. For every action there is an equal but opposite reaction ( yeah well get the point ).

This is a copy of the letter to the editor which I wrote and was published in the Times Of Malta
I wish to express my utter disappointment with regard to the recent news that academic staff were ordered not to give out examination results. While I understand that staff have the right to establish a collective agreement and fight for their rights, I do not understand why it is always us students who have to suffer. Already there are a number of administrative problems of a bureaucratic nature which we have to face every day at the University.
We work hard and study for our exams and thus we expect our results to be out in a timely manner.
After all, MUT members were all students in the first place and thus they should have first-hand experience of waiting for exam results. I am sure that the other university students, who add up to nearly 10,000, are equally keen to see their results out soon.
The actions should be halted as soon as possible so as not to further delay our results. This is the same situation as happened recently at Mcast, so my concluding question is: Why is it always the student that has to suffer ?
